Aisen High-Speed Rail (TAVA) | 2051 | The FA (Castilian: Ferrocarriles de Aisen, "Aisen Railways") started building high-speed rail lines in 2051. FA has branded its high-speed service as TAVA (Castilian: Trenes de Alta Velocidad de Aisen, "Aisen High-Speed Trains") which currently operates on seven lines, the busiest being the Trans-Aisen line. The TAVA is the only high-speed rail service in Aisen, with trains operating at speeds up to 250 km/h or 350 km/h. The first line opened in November 26, 2051 connecting Puerto Montt to Coyhaique, a line that later expanded to the Magallanean border. In 2076, the company purchased the high-speed rail system in the neighbouring country of Magallanes after a lenghty process with the local government. |
Chacao - Pargua Bridge | 2064 | The Chacao - Pargua Bridge was a bridge designed to more effectively connect the capital to Isla Grande de Chiloé and complete the A2 motorway towards Quellón. The bridge is 2.45 km long and is the longest bridge in the country. |
Puerto Montt New International Airport | 2075 | This airport was designed to become the main airport in the country and the capital. It was designed to support up to 50 million passengers annually and with an expansion capacity. The construction of 4 runways was also planned, one for military use and three modern and large terminals, one for domestic and regional flights and the two for international flights only. |
Osorno Stadium | 2078 | ----- |
New Port of Puerto Montt | 2087 | The New Port of Puerto Montt was a port designed to replace the current port, with the aim of having a much greater capacity, both for cargo and passengers. The new port was built in the village of Chamiza and was opened on May 9, 2087. |
Puerto Montt Bay Bridge | 2090 | The Puerto Montt Bay Bridge is a 29km bridge–tunnel system consisting of a series of two cable-stayed bridges, an undersea tunnel, and one artificial island. It connects the town of Calbuco to Contao, in other words, links the two sides of Puerto Montt Bay, allowing to traffic that travel from one side to teh other do not pass by Puerto Montt busiest highways. |
